Las Vegas Musician Jill Avilez Unveils Comic Book ‘Vato Bunny’

Local Las Vegas musician, Jill Avilez (aka Mizz Absurd) releases their first self-published comic book, ‘Vato Bunny’ Taco Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at www.vatobunny.com. With an in-store release and signing at Alternate Reality Comics, 5300 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, on Sat. March 9th, 2024 12pm-2pm.

‘Vato Bunny’ brings Avilez back to her roots growing up in East LA/ Hollywood, California showcasing her comedic “Spanglish” culture. Dedicated to her mixed Mexican/Jewish “Jewxican” heritage, unique friendships and inspired by Cheech Marin’s “Born in East LA” film. Jill Avilez says, ‘Bunnies are awesome.’
