16th Annual Dam Short Film Festival Premieres Feb. 13

The 16th Annual Dam Short Film Festival film returns February 13-16 at the Boulder Theatre in Boulder City, Nevada. Categories at this year’s festival include Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Sci-Fi/Horror, Animation, Student, Music Video, and Nevada Filmmaker. The festival is presented in 20 plus thematic program blocks over four days.

Attendees can network and party with filmmakers and film fans alike. The schedule of events includes the Filmmaker Panel, Filmmaker Meet-n-Greet, 16th Dam Mixer, Awards Gala, Film Market, and special screenings. This year the festival features a retrospective on 40 years of The Residents.

According to reviews from FilmFreeway users, the Dam Short Film Festival ranks in the top 1.5% of more than 7,000 film festivals and creative contests around the world.

And Desert Companion ranks the Dam Short Film Festival as the Best Local Film Festival in the Las Vegas Valley.
