VIM MAGAZINE: What was your thought process for taking these photos?

MIKA CALIZO: I wanted to bring the most authentic versions of these powerful women. For them to express their inner goddess, inner child and inner beauty. I wanted to bring genuine smiles and poses while enhancing their unique features.

VIM MAGAZINE: How do you think empowering women helps society as a whole?

MIKA CALIZO: Empowering women helps society as a whole because women can bring a special Essence; nurture, patience, justice, gentleness, care, and many more gifts from God.
